Barbara Jones (UK)
Barbara Jones started as a female carpenter and in 1994 she got in touch with straw building for the first time. From that day on, she has executed more than 300 straw projects.
René Dalmeijer
René Dalmeijer is specialised in durable building with natural materials. In IJburg, Amsterdam, he builded his own house out of straw. "Durable building is not that easy. Choosing the right material is very important. You have to select materials that live up to certain standards, but they also have to be environmentally friendly.
Audrey van den Heuvel & Piotr Bronicki
Audrey and Piotr have built a straw house in Veghel (The Netherlands). They're very passionate about building with natural materials and will share their stories with us.
During the evening there will be a swinging performance of The Bucket Boyz.
