Mike Parr

Parr has been exibiting artworks since 1970, before which time he wrote poetry. In that year, he started Inhibodress, an artists’ cooperative and prototype space for conceptual art, performance work, sound and video. Until 1979 Parr mostly made written conceptual works, and performances, but he has now become better known for his environmental installations involving large drawings.
