Ambiguous Artefacts: a selection of meticulous objects by Linda Molenaar, who charges her work with layers of twisted symbolism. Linda’s work seems to be referring to the afterlife and reincarnation, questioning their value as an item of victory or defeat. Throughout a variety of her performances, video works and objects, the reference to animals is recurrent. Sometimes she is forcing human behavior onto an animal form or she takes the shape of animals as starting point. In the works we are showing, the mythical powers that humans have placed in the principle of animal life is perceived with a touch of humor.
