This bike is made out of Columbus MAX tubing, which uses the concept of orientated ellipses and differentiated sections to give the frame greater rigidity. The material used is the revolutionary NivaCrom, a strong and extra light steel developed by Italian tube manufacturer Columbus.
The bike used to belong to a 14/15 year old boy who's stepfather was a cyclist. However the boy wasn't very fond of cycling and only used this bike for two winters after he returned it to RIH Sport Amsterdam.
It might look strange that a bike with this extra strong Columbus MAX tubing belonged to a young boy, but it's not if you know that the boy was about two meters long, therefore he really needed this strong material for his frame.
