Hotpot Lab #16 - Modalities

Presentations and performances of the new Modality framework by Marije Baalman, Till Bovermann, and others.

For this Hotpot the we will discuss and demonstrate applications of Modality, the new live computer music control framework developed by some of the top SuperCollider contributors from around the world. The team of musicians, artists, and researchers behind Modality will present the issues that they are trying to address and their unique approach to creating a useful toolkit for computer musicians. This will be accompanied with lively examples and conclude with an improv performance by the Modality team using the tools they have developed throughout the week.
