Enten is a technique by which you join plants together. It is usually used to grow identical fruits on different fruit trees. The upper part of these trees is grafted with shoots from the same mother tree and thus produces exactly the same type of fruit. You can do the same with cacti. When cacti are grafted, the lower cactus influences the flowering and growth time of the upper cactus. Cacti lives in different habitats (desert, snow or jungle) and even they can be grafted together and become a new cactus.
