Guy Laurence

Guy Laurence started his career at Chrysalis Records and moved on to the film industry working for Universal/Paramount Cinemas, and MGM Studios, where he was for example involved with launching the James Bond movies.

After that he started work for an internet company called Vizzavi, which was later acquired by Vodafone. This marked the start of his career at Vodafone, where he held positions like Global Terminals and Consumer Marketing Director. He was jointly responsible for the successful introduction of Vodafone Live!

Since 1 January 2006 he is CEO of Vodafone Netherlands. To fulfil the long term growth strategy of the company, he decided to move part of Vodafone Netherlands to the capital Amsterdam. On 1 September 2008, Vodafone’s 2nd Head office officially opened.
