A new community website is only as successful as the contributions of its participants and a well-stocked website encourages new visitors to add their own contributions. With this in mind, a kickstart workshop was initiated at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture and Innovation in The Hague on May 31, 2012. This kickstart workshop was meant for different focus groups to get acquainted which each other and the new website. Following this workshop, companies and governmental institutions could publish their first content on innovatiemarkt.nl.
Mediamatic organises one or more meetings to meet the wishes of the clients and to create the right base content for the website. Thijs, Xavier and Joey from Mediamatic were present to introduce the website and offered the necessary help with uploading the first content.
After the initial profiles, corporate pages and articles were published, there was plenty of time for exchanging ideas and networking. In this sense, the workshop was a perfect ‘analogue example‘ for the upcoming activity on the digital platform innovatiemarkt.nl.
