From October to January you could swap all your unwanted belongings and shameful purchases at Mediamatic Fabriek. Even massages and haircuts could be exchanged. Ruilen also exhibited work from artists who question and explore the practice of exchange.

Swapping Dreams was part of Ruilen, an exhibition and series of events, from October 20 to January 6. You could get a membership, which gave you free entrance for a month, by doing a chore like an hour of barkeeping or half an hour of vacuum cleaning. If you preferred to pay with money a membership set you back €5,-. Kids half price.
