Isabel Lucena is a graphic designer living and working in Lisbon. In 2008 she completed the Master Course in Communication and Design from the Sandberg Institute, the Masters Program of the Rietveld Academy, in Amsterdam. During the four years she lived in the Netherlands she worked together with the design studio Thonik, the non-profit organization ALLMEDIA and as an independent designer for cultural institutions such as the Stedelijk Museum, the NIMK- Dutch Media Art Institute and the Amsterdam cultural center De Balie. In 2009 she moved back to Lisbon where she develops projects mainly in the area of Editorial Design and Identity Design. Besides working as an independent designer from her studio in downtown Lisbon she occasionally collaborates with other multi-disciplinary studios on the development of specific projects.
