The feeling internet

May 23th at 21:30

Will touch become a form of radical communication in the near future? Melanie Bonajo, together with artists like Bianca Casady (CocoRosie) and Maria Guggenbichler, wonders how we can stay harmonized with our rapidly evolving technological environment. This, one evening only, exhibition focuses on the spiritual side of technology and questions the connection between the inner space and cyberspace.

Program

The Feeling Internet' reconceptualises presence, touch, healing and spirituality looking to envisage the possible shape of non-verbal communication in digital spaces by using symbolism from popular culture in spiritual contexts.

Six performance artists will create a manual for feelings on the internet. They will perform these manuals through a webcam and the performances will be individually created for one viewer at a time. For this one time only, you can truly connect with the artist.
