ABOUT THE EXHIBITION:
Artists from Prague, London and Berlin uncover unseen, forgotten corners of suburbia, city within a city, sense of inhabiting one's little space as affirmation of belonging and urban undergrowth - surprisingly hidden after all that discovering - but also what is part of the fantasy inspired by the city, visions and dreams (or nightmares) of the future of the pulsating cityscape. Each metropolis becomes a unique organism that breathes and develops. It's created by humans but humans coming from the nature, their creation is no more artificial than any other accidental or incidental nature's creation or advancement, even if "building itself has become an act of destruction".
The City brings together works in photography, paintings, but also in comics, animation, music and film.
Every Friday, films with a theme of the city will be screened under the FRIDAY KINO series, selected from open submission.
DIVUS UNIT 30 accepts submissions on DVD but in some cases can provide an FTP access for direct uploading.
If you'd like DIVUS UNIT 30 to return your film after screening, please enclose a SAE.
