I am a student from Lithuania, currently based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. After studying Molecular Life Science in Nijmegen in Radboud University, I switched to biochemistry in Groningen University and combined it with minor of Arts. Specifically I am interested in olfactory art, since I see it as creative approach to biochemistry.
I believe that senses are and will always be a big part of technology and arts. In Mediamatic I put it into practice and by distilling senses I investigate and stimulate the cultural and artistic potential of olfaction with small scale extractions and interdisciplinary events. Helping organizing distillation workshops and events like Odorama I investigate raw materials, learn new techniques and explore senses.
