MAMA runs a full program of educational and cultural events, undertakes research projects and develops new ways of working with a range of audiences and communities through visual arts and culture.
In addition to the program of exhibitions taking place in the own project-space, Showroom MAMA, the organisation collaborates with a range of other cultural providers, both at home in the Netherlands and abroad to develop high-quality visual arts projects.
As a founding member of the StabilityMobility Network, MAMA is active in working with other artist-led organisations in a European context. This has involved projects aimed at the sharing of good practice and more pragmatic "hands on" work such as arranging exchanges of artists and exhibitions trans-nationally.
