Berit has worked for a number of years in Berlin, Halle and the Arab region. She curated the programme for the international festival COMIC MEETS THEATER at Thalia Theater Halle in 2006 where she worked as a project manager from 2005-2008. In 2010 she collaborated with the Creative Forum for Independent Theater in Alexandria, Egypt, and curated the programme "Chasing Shadows", working together with the Goethe Institute Alexandria. Currently she develops the programme HOME GAME 2011 for the German Federal Cultural Foundation. HOME GAME 2011 is a hybrid workspace, a festival and symposium for theater practitioners, curators and activists who incorporate impulses from their home cities into their theater activities.
