Foodology is a visual realization of a positive vision through art, from the dream of a Japanese Alice living in 2 cultures in times of multicultural co-existence and ever expanding globalization of such a high-tech era, at time when "IDENTITY" is questioned. In this cross-boarder art project, she aims to open another window in today's art, based on her unique interpretation of a new art stream from Japan, "Superflat"
FOODOLOGY is inspired by and associated with thoughts on food....its allegory, symbolism and ritual.
Art, Food and Fashion are very much related with our being...not only individual but also social/cultural identity! And all 3 depend on tastes and senses, in which various natural, cultural and social factors play a great role on almost every individual. Art, Food and Fashion connect people and at the same time they differentiate people from each other."You are what you create/make, you are what you eat and you are what you wear!

FOODOLOGY is an innovative art forum where different people can have positive interaction with each other in a language that does not require words. I-dentity, U-dentity and We-dentity come together in this FOODLOGY project. It will enable the participants and the public to experience the rich variety of cultural difference, while at the same time have a sense of connection. It will encourage respect, appreciation and acceptance.
To be personal sublimates to be universal, which is a magic of art. Above all art is communication. eed your mind, Nourish your soul!!
In the process of the project, lots of workshops will be held to the people from diverse social/cultural backgrounds and of different ages. The artist integrates their creations into the visualization of the project and upgrade their creativity with her creativity/capacity as an artist.
