Zaina Adhami

Originally from Damascus, UAE-born Editorial Director and co-founder of brownbook; Zaina Adhami was initially a designer on the brownbook team, further to her design qualifications from Central Saint Martin, London. During this time, Zaina managed to establish the magazine as the pioneer in covering issues of the young urban lifestyles in the Middle East. Further to this, she moved on to become Art Director, controlling the overall look of the publication, along with her editorial research position.

Since joining the brownbook team, Zaina has curated the publication working with a diverse group of young Middle Easterners around the world. Her interest in “everything Middle Eastern” has enabled her to take brownbook almost everywhere.
