Huub de Groot is a Professor of Biophysical Organic Chemistry at Leiden University. His research on producing Solar Biofuels from Microorganisms has consistently been focused on appropriate and sustainable hi-tech replacement of fossil fuels.
Richard Pell is professor of art at Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburg, USA and one of the founding members of the Center for PostNatural History (www.postnatural.org). Rich will speak about the Center’s investigations into the geographic placement of transgenic plants and animals.
