Sustainability is the main focus of my design process. In my opinion, products should not be made for single-use but should be designed to be long-lasting and easy to fix. As a material designer, I am passionate about experimenting with waste materials as a raw material for new designs. I see the human body as a sustainable source for raw materials. By making use of things we tend to get rid of, like hair, nails, teeth or bodily fluids, I am able to come up with materials that are unique, sustainable and have a personal background.
