Fascinated by skin? Its way beyond that, Amber Veel is fully grasped by it. Before she went to the Art Academy, she worked as a district nurse and there her interest in skin was born. But her job did not offer her enough and so she decided to go to the Art Academy.
Everything came together when she wanted to delve herself into the technique of tanning skin. She wanted to preserve that, for her so important, skin. From this craft technique arose soft silk scarves and negligees that carry the raw effects of the tanning process as a black/brown staining pattern.
