I am graphic designer living and working in Bratislava, Slovakia. I had completed several international fellowships and earned a Master’s degree in Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Slovakia.
Nowadays I am studying ArtD in Visual Communication at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava. My doctoral thesis and practice is called Visual Communication as Critical Platform. I am researching forms of critical practice and started a course called Critic! on Department of Visual Communication that focuses on developing critical projects reflecting social environment.
I am co-founder of the Open Design Studio, which was founded in 2007 in Bratislava, Slovakia. Open Design Studio is organization that addresses critical topics with visual communication tools and approaching issues from diverse social and political aspects. Its main aim is to present graphic design as an open platform for development of critical practice by organizing workshops, exhibitions, lectures, talks or individual projects.
