Yorit Kluitman

Yorit Kluitman is a freelance graphic designer and is co-initiator of De Letterproeftuin; a collective of designer that explore graphic techniques in site-specific self made laboratories. He also takes part of BrabantLab; a creative workingroup that tries to solve issues of Provincie Brabant by means of brainstorm sessions.

At the moment he spent all his remaining time to the Tussen Steden project : during the next two years,Yorit Kluitman will be cycling across all of the 418 Dutch municipalities. The project started April 2011 and is planned to end in 2014.

During this journey, Yorit will record and map out
the characteristics of the open and arranged spaces which separates Dutch villages, cities and regions. Kluitman's motive is his fascination for the, from a bicycle riders perspective very well seen, organized structure of space and seemingly two dimensional world surrounding the urban areas of Holland.
