‘New Luxury’ is the new ‘Post Modern’: these words are more and more used without any context, but what can we define as the new luxury anyway?

Rather than handcrafted exclusive items, artists, designers and even high-end luxury labels choose to recreate mass-market products, like the ‘China Bag’, into pieces that are more worth and thus more durable than their original version. Are throwaway products slowly disappearing, or should we say: are here to stay?
