Watertanden
We need food to survive, but there's so much more to it than that. What defines an eating experience? Taste, surroundings, genes, company? How can we use food to comfort, manipulate, and form our identities? The exhibition is a food-based obstacle course, inviting you to experiment and taste.
Andreia, Renske, Karlijn
Andreia, Renske, and Karlijn spent three years investigating the importance of food. The more answers they found, the more questions were raised. They've taken stock and are presenting the results-so-far as Watertanden, a book and exhibition.
Karlijn Souren is a product- and food designer, Andreia Costa is a photographer and graphic designer, and Renske de Greef is a writer and nrc.next-columnist.
