His paintings express an unspeakable joie-de-vivre and liveliness, which directly touch the dreams and yearning of the beholder. For the artist it's less important to present a rational analysis of his imagery, but rather to convey a depth of feeling, as when we are moved by the richness of birdsong.
Peter Weibel lives and works in the newly-built Artelier Korona in Lausen. Visitors are welcome all the year round.
