In 2014, the 14th century landmark is about to celebrate a grand opening after decades of restoration, bringing contemporary art into the vast lightness of its grand interior. At 5 July the church is the décor for artists, designers, writers, musicians, collectors and hobbyists. They present work in progress, found material and failures.
Lost & Found is a specific and unique stage for diverse and hybrid works which don't fit comfortably into galleries or museums.
The programme is compiled by Alma Mathijsen, Julia van Mourik, Suzanne Wallinga and Yeb Wiersma from received and selected material.

Since 1997, over 90 sessions of stray images and sound have been organized in Amsterdam, Alexandria, Berlin, Cairo, Los Angeles, New York and Vilnius.
For every session a designer is asked to produce a flyer that were all exhibited at Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam and at Alexandria Contemporary Arts Forum and Townhouse Gallery, Kairo (Egypt). The Netherlands Institute for Art History has taken the flyers into their collection.
