Activist, freethinker, designer, design researcher, maker and blue collar philosopher, writer…Astrid Poot puts on a lot of different hats, but in a nutshell, she is a maker and thinker. She develops tools and experience that empower people, and from time to time, she reflects on how our ethics define the good in work and the society. She facilitates learning and creative experience in scenarios varied from families to schools, from museums to business communities, and from libraries to maker spaces across the Netherlands. She also runs multiple platforms such as the GoedMaken and the lekkersamenklooien to share her practices and make the knowledge more accessible. From 2023, she starts a blog talking about autism and work from her first-person perspective and putting her insight as a designer along the way.
