In his practice, he focusses on the process instead of a result. By patiently letting the findings of his research be his guide, he allows himself to constantly shift views and perspectives and discover new realities within his topic.
"Sometimes I find myself in a space where I don’t know anything because I am the only one looking at this in this way or one of the few. So it means that I almost have to take baby steps and just stumble into a new reality."
His thought-provoking projects include The Incredible Shrinking Man that researches if it is possible to downsize the human species to better fit the earth and Growth? an investigation into humanity’s obsession with continuous growth. As a regular Mediamatic collaborator, he directed several projects to draw attention to our (sometimes twisted) relation with the earth and her resources, like Kool Abundance, The Starvation Experiment, and the building of a holy pigeon tower out of recycled newspapers.
