Safe and intimate dinner at the water side of Oosterdok in Amsterdam!

At Mediamatic we're designing and testing new safe hospitality. Later this year we will serve our visitors amazing plant-based dinners in their own little greenhouse. We're hoping to open in June; reservations will be open from the last week of May.

The photos were taken during test runs on Monday April 27, Tuesday May 5 and Tuesday May 12, 2020. Reproduction is allowed when crediting the photographer(s).

Testing Serres Séparées at Mediamatic ETEN - Safer water side dining in Amsterdam Soon, we'll offer really nice plant-based dinner in our greenhouses on the Amsterdam water side of the Oosterdok. We are testing the setup now whilst waiting for permission to re-open our restaurant and art space. In restaurants and bars, a separate room is traditionally named in French: "chambre séparée". It suggests a sexy kind of intimacy: here things can happen that should remain hidden from plain sight and not be heard by all. We've decided to name our greenhouses in French too.
