After purchasing her first plant in 2013, she has dedicated the past 5 years of her life engaging in classes, apprenticeships and certificate programs in New York City learning about the life of plants. She has worked in sales, as well as indoor plant maintenance at large companies and offices, and began consulting for friends. In 2018, she decided to move to Amsterdam to launch her business PLANTMOM, blending her expertise and enthusiasm to help people develop more confidence in plant care.
Monai designed Botanikurs, maintains plants and green walls in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. She does botanical consultations and installations for residential and commercial spaces. Additionally, Monai gives talks around Amsterdam about how to live more consciously with plants at home. PLANTMOM hopes to launch a line of sustainable organic fertilizer and plant starter kits (+ much more) in 2019!
