Currently Elena is in charge of the development and production of the project 'TIME FRAME' for NIMk, which investigates the intersection of media, technology, art and society in the current art practices in Africa and Latin America.
She also curates and produces the project 'Broadcast Media Sculptures', a project co-funded by the European Comission that produces artistic examinations and experimental investigation on the future of mass media and storytelling.
It takes place in different European cities in parallel and it's supported by different organizations. Among them: SALTO in Amsterdam, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest, Resonance FM in London, Orange 94.0 in Vienna and the University of Fina Art in Sofia.
In the past she worked as assistant curator/project manager for the Netherlands Media Art Institute (NIMk) ,where she was involved in the development and production of exhibitions, conferences, video screenings and other events that fall in the territories of new media. She was also a web editor and community manager for the online platform 'Mediamatic Travel', as well as pre-producer of the 'Amsterdam Biennale' at Mediamatic.
