After graduating in Spain in 1996 Ricard relocated to the UK to continue his studies, did a Masters in DTV Production & Interactive media and became Development Director of Arts and Technology Partnerships -where he had started a research into interactive narratives which led him to accidentally discover Machinima as a technique back in 2001. Machinima is the use of game environments for the production of artistic and audiovisual content. Ricard is Director of the Machinima Europe Board and promotes the use of machinima as a production tool through talks/articles. Ricard's company La Interactiva are official Second Life developers.
