Ignite is run by locals, for locals. Fast-paced and merciless, speakers get five minutes to present, making use of twenty slides that auto-advance every fifteen seconds. All presentations are given in English.

Bette Adriaanse
Bette graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy (Image & Language department) in 2008 and received her MA in Creative Writing from Oxford University. Her work veers between the visual and the textual. She'll tell you more tonight.

Ruben Jacobs & Tomm Velthuis (Radio Romantiek)
In Radio Romantiek the romantic takes centre stage. Think literature, cande light, port, maroon and hints of gold. Think Alexander Pushkin and Phil Collins making out on a furry rug. And listen to the soothing voices of Ruben and Tomm.

Pre-sale tickets are €6,- until 14:00 on the day of the event. Then they go up to €8,-. Members pay €1 in the pre-sale and €3,- after. Location: Mediamatic Fabriek, VOC-Kade 10-12, Oostenburg Amsterdam. Doors open at 19:00. Dinner is served until 20:30, then the first speaker kicks off.
